WHEN THE SPIRIT SPEAKS, LISTEN!

This is what was spoken to my spirit this morning as I sat down to write in my journal.  I was singing a verse of this song all morning (which just popped into my spirit) which said, “Speak to my heart Lord, speak to my heart”.  As I sat down at my desk to begin my work for the day, this is what poured out of me.  It was God answering my request and speaking to my heart.  Many times I will just write what God has spoken to my heart in my journal but today I am choosing to share it.  I have realized that God’s words, gifts, talents, etc are never really for us to hoard or keep to ourselves.  It’s to uplift our spirits and bless others.  I pray it blesses you just as much as it blessed me……..

Daily you have to give me permission and allow me to speak to you.  You have to open the ears of your heart.  I’m always there speaking, guiding, encouraging, and pouring my love to you.  You allow me to BE by allowing yourself to JUST BE!

Just let it flow!  The river has been held back for long enough.  It’s ready to overflow.  It wants to overflow and overtake you along with ALL others that are within your presence or that taps into your energy.  Let it flow!  The floodgate of heaven is your heart.  Open it up and let it flow down on my universe!  Let it overtake your world.  Don’t build walls around it.  Don’t put up levees.  Let it flood!  Let it gush out of you.  It’s a beautiful waterfall of light that should be spread all over this world.  How?  By JUST BEING who you are.  Be authentic.  Be quirky.  Be clumsy.  Be imperfectly perfect.  Be love.  Be yourself!  Embrace all of your flaws (which you allow to hold you back) and let my love flow out of you like a river.  Embrace all of your imperfections.  In your eyes you are flawed but in my eyes you are perfect.  I created you and I knew exactly what I was doing.  Yes, even your crooked smile, I knew exactly how you would turn out.  I don’t make mistakes.  Love every atom that makes up the whole of what you see.  It’s your vehicle to have life on earth.  It’s important but what’s most important is your spirit.  It resides inside of your vehicle and it is eternal.  Connect with it.  It’s the core of who you are.  Many people ask the question, “Who am I?”  You are the spirit within.  Connect with your spirit.  It’s bright, warm, pure unadulterated love and it’s ALL you! 

Don’t look outwardly into the world to answer the question of who you are.  You will become lost.  You have to search within.  To search within you have to shut off the external distractions.  Turn off your T.V. and radio.  Isolate yourself into total silence.  Power down your computer and turn off your mind.  Once the world has been quieted – just sit.  Close your eyes and allow yourself to release all things that stand in between you and your spirit.  See yourself as you are in spirit form.  The same way you envision your heavenly Father, see yourself.  Embrace that vision.  Give your spirit permission to speak.  Once you do, just sit and listen.  Accept what it will tell you.  You are love.  You are divine.  You are the light of the world.  You are a mirror of your Creator. 

Don’t allow your mind or ego to tell you differently!  Quiet him down once more if you have to and listen to your spirit ONLY (which speaks within your heart and is more like a feeling).  Once you have listened and once you have reached acceptance then you are ready to………………….JUST BE!!!!!

You are love made from love and were sent here to love (yourself, God, and others).

Is Condemnation Your Middle Name?

The other day I read something that grieved my heart. It was a message to many different people about how they will be "left behind" or “go to hell" if they didn't change themselves and get “right” with God (“right” according to the writer of course). The message was based in fear and condemnation.  It certainly did not move me to repentance or conviction (if it was supposed to).

For me personally, I know who I am and I know my Creator so I did not take the message personally. What bothered me was the people that would be condemned by it. Possibly someone needed to hear how much their Creator loves them and is always with them REGARDLESS of what they have done or their imperfections. Perhaps someone needed to hear that our God is a merciful, loving God and that He can cleanse them from all unrighteousness.

I believe the message by this person was rooted in fear and judgment.  My rule is if the message is not rooted in love, it’s NOT God!  God is love! 

Many people can debate for hours on this topic.  For me, this is not up for debate because I have opened myself up to hear all points of views.  At the end of the day, I ONLY follow what resonates in my spirit and heart.  I have to take all that I’ve been taught or heard and check-it with my internal truth.  This takes work and time and I am not afraid to employ both.

God did not come to condemn the world. He knew we would do enough of that on our own. Romans 5:12, "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."

We are all sinners! No one is self-righteous! Jesus didn't come to condemn the world.  Why should we?  I believe so many people have fallen victim to this fear based message. Go within yourself, who knows the truth already, and scrub ALL things against your inner truth. Don't be so easily controlled by others and actually do the "seeking" yourself. That is what we are supposed to do. Seek and you will find.....the truth. It's already hidden inside of you. To do this however requires an open mind and heart. Many people that have been molded into a fear based message have become very closed minded and as a result you have muted your true inner voice. Cut away all of what you have been taught (not that it was wrong) because you need to go on your own truth seeking journey to now reconcile what you were taught to your inner truth. Some teachings will remain with you and some won't resonate with you at all. How can you ever really find the truth if you are so self-righteous and closed minded?   

Little bird, it's time to leave your cage and fly free. Go discover the world you CHOSE to come to! Go and discover it for yourself!

As for the countless amounts of people in this world that needs to hear the good news……..God loves YOU, you were made in His image, and YOU are love!

As for the condemners of the world……lighten up and choose to love freely and be loved freely.  The condemners of the bible days were ultimately silenced.  Read Matthew 12:28-34, 

The Greatest Commandment

 One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

 “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.   Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.   The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.   There is no commandment greater than these.”
 
^"Well said, teacher,” the man replied. “You are right in saying that God is one and there is no other but him.  To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

When Jesus saw that he had answered wisely, he said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.” And from then on no one dared ask him any more questions.

Why must we make it so difficult?  It’s actually very simple!

Beautiful Surprise

When eyes noticed her smile, her lips, her thighs, the energy that she emits; in astonishment they were hypnotized.

She was as gorgeous as the sun but very few realized that what was hidden inside was a more beautiful surprise.

Her words were so elegant.

Her clothes were so sharp.
Her eyes were like a river.
Her touch warmed any heart.    

Her smile could light up the room.

Her vibe felt deep within.
Her love was very tangible.
Her energy washes sins.

Was this the very best?

Was the best yet to come? 
Who would ever wonder where she really came from?

It was you, although it was searchless.

It was you that would find it; it was hidden for a purpose.

One day she knew someone would look deeper.

The one who would find the treasure, to her was a keeper.

She always wondered if the day would one day come.

She waited patiently, never giving up on “the one”.

So, today is the day.

She knows it’s safe to show.

Yes, she is like a goddess.
Yes, she is more beautiful than a sunrise.
But what only you have now unlocked; to only you this now applies.

You saw behind the veil; you saw the story in her eyes.

That river that you saw wasn’t a disguise. 
You just knew that her heart was a more beautiful surprise.

Two hearts placed in this world unaware that they are one.

The search is over now. You have finally found me.

It's like a game of hide and seek. We live our lives on repeat.

This time I am led here and here is where I'll be.

What happens when the search has led you back to me?

Does it all end abruptly?

Do we stay and enjoy?

Do we agree to go on repeat as we start to search once more?

Is this all a part of it?

Am I too blind to see?

How does it end this time?

Will you search for me?

One day the search won't start over.  One day God will allow us to move forward.  One day eternity will be us and we can rest in our love as one.
