Visits From My Angel (dreaming wide awake)

She appeared to me after much persuasion of allowing her to. Angel after angel begged and pleaded, "Please let her speak to you. She will comfort you." As they repeated this over and over again and I understood the request, I said, "Of course I give her permission!"

So, there she appeared before me. She was the most beautiful person my eyes had ever seen. Tears flowed down my face even harder then before. I was elated to see her. I needed her to comfort me badly. I needed her wisdom. I wasn't sure why I needed consoling but my spirit knew why and so did she.

I cried the most gut wrenching cry I had ever cried in my life. I spilled my heart out to her. I told her everything as she patiently listened until I was finished. As she started speaking to me the tears instantly dried up. It was as if she was speaking life into me. She breathed new life back into me and the funny thing is - I can't tell you what she said except for the very simple last sentence. She looked at me lovingly and with all seriousness and said, "Do what makes you happy."

And that was the very first time I realized that I wasn't. My journey of discovering what makes me happy has brought me to the center of my soul. Happiness is found within. Today, I am simply saying yes when I want to say yes and no when I want to say no. I am loving myself, God, and others. I am living in my freedom and discovering that this life is a journey and it's meant to be lived as we discover the beauty of it all.
