AFRICA AND HOW YOU CAN HELP - THE 410 BRIDGE

Let me just say, I have experienced firsthand the community-wide gatherings in Kwambekenya. On our last day in the community, the children performed for us. They danced and praised God for sending the team and we also had a ribbon cutting ceremony for the three new school buildings that was donated and dedicated to the school. It was an amazing sight to witness. On that particular day it was our coldest and rainiest day. We all gathered and sat in the cold weather and just as we were finishing the presentation it started to pour down raining. What I saw after that brought tears to my eyes! The beautiful people of Kwambekenya started singing (always praises to God) and dancing in the rain!!!! It was beautiful! I cried and cried and cried as I witness what TRUE community looks like. One of the teachers asked me, "What do you think?". I could barely get my words out because I was crying so much. My tears were from realizing how we in America have lost that sense of community. Neighbors looking out for neighbors, children looking out for other children, everyone putting their little resources together to help ALL in the community survive. ALL of this while giving God the glory, honor, and praise. Man did not do this, The 410 Bridge did not do this.......GOD alone did this through his grace, mercy, and loving kindness for ALL of his people. The support given to Kwambekenya is God speaking to the hearts of men to go and visit, build relationships, give, help, and support.

Luke 6:38-40 (KJV) Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

I won't ever complain again! I have seen the glory of God manifested in Kwambekenya! Be happy for what God has blessed you with and never again focus on what you don't have!

I love and thank you for your prayers, support, and generous hearts! God bless us all.
